The second set of games for the fall season were challenging as our Pats battled hard to find a win.
Game 1: Eagle Varsity vs. Centennial
Eagle came out to play with almost all of their regular varsity team, minus a few. The physical effort to keep with them was more then our Pats bargained for during this fall season. The refs also watched the game and let the boys play through that most other officials would have called. Third quarter goals from Trenton Hanson and Trent Patton help to put some points on the board, but all-in-all it was a tough game to watch our boys struggle through as we lost 2-10.
Game 2: Eagle JV vs. Centennial
Our Pats came out strong in the first half with Travis Hoppins scoring four goals going into the half up 4-3. But, Eagle came back hard in the second and controlled the rest of the game with a final score 5-7.
Game 3: Borah/Capital vs. Centennial
A combined team from Borah and Capital was the third game on the day. Our Pats came out strong with goals Trent Patton leading the half with three goals. Auston Gonzales added points to the score on a great shot that brought the score to 4-0. Jack Tandrow with help from a great defensive effort kept the mixed team to only 1 point with a final score 4-1 at the half. Sophomore goalie Jason Guadagno came in at the half as Jack watched from the sidelines. The Bor-itals came back hard and attacked the goal, again and again, proving too much for Jason and scoring 5 goals in the second half to win the game.
